On Mother's day 2010 I attended the Susan G Komen Walk for The Cure at the Mall of America. This is my second year attending this race. Being part of something so big is so rewarding. It is amazing to see all the 50,000 people who are dedicated to finding a cure for this awful disease known as BREAST CANCER. This year our Team was a bit bigger than last and hopefully next year will grow even bigger. My favorite part of the walk is the Hug a Survivor corner. I personally do not know any survivors and we don't have any on our team, which means it's a few of the random 50,000 strangers that get a great big warming hug from me and my team members on the corner of 2 random streets surrounding the Mall of America. The feelings that you experience during this one little tiny hug overwhelm not only you but the completely random stranger you are in contact with. It is the most amazing and rewarding thing on this planet.
